A case of wines new to our shop over the last couple of months. These are the bottles that we can't put down right now:

Cuvee Antech Cremant de Limoux - Stunning Cremant from the region in the Northern Languedoc that was famously the first to create sparkling wine. This is made in a Champagne style with elegant notes of ripe apple, white flowers and brioche.

Chateau Cambon Beaujolais Blanc - What? White Beaujolais, who knew? This is essentially a Macon Chardonnay with notes of ripe stonefruit, melon and white flowers, just made in the slightly more Southerly Beaujolais region by the great Cambon estate.

La Belouse, Macon-Cruzille - A 2016 white Burgundy at a sensible price. Lovely and full-textured, nutty and deep in flavour.

Jean-Baptiste Souillard Syrah - An upcoming star in the Northern Rhone, we have many of Souillard's wines, however this straight Syrah (with no big name attached) is stunning, lots of dense, dark fruit notes and a savoury, peppery, meaty finish.

Xavier Amirault, St Nicolas de Bourgueil 'Le Fondis' - Stunning Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley, Le Fondis is considered to be a top vineyard site in St Nicolas, and this wine is ripe, powerful and impressive.

Lopez de heredia, Vina Cubillo (2013 vintage) - A very sensibly priced Crianza from this top Rioja estate, the wine clearly punches above it's weight, full-bodied, complex and delicious.
