The first winegrower in the Bairrada region (Portugal), João Pato started the family winery in 1970. Then his son Luis Pato, took over and continued with the same entrepreneurial spirit. Of the 60 hectares of vineyards that the Pato family owns, Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas Branco is made with a mixture of three native varieties. The Bical variety grows in clay-calcareous soil and the Cerceal and the Sercialinho grown in sandy soils. This is an aromatic, light and balanced wine. A very gastronomic white that is perfect for opening alongside a wide variety of dishes.
