We are unbelievably excited to be able to announce our first-ever South African wine dinner at the Beckford Bottle Shop. We will have two incredible winemakers in attendance, representing a couple of the Western Cape's most exciting projects.

Winemaker Alex Starely has made every vintage at Keermont Estate  since its genesis in 2007. Based in Stellenbosch's obscenely picturesque Blaauwklippen Valley, Keermont create an array of stunning, premium wines, of which we will be tasting quite a range, from a deliciously fresh yet complex white, to plush Cab Sauvs and Syrahs, and even their ultra-rare sweet wine made with Sauvignon Blanc. 

Franco Lourens of Louren Family Wines has only been making wine under his own name for a few years, but his bottles are already in high demand and are receiving ever-louder praised from top critics. Although his winery is based in Southern Paarl, Franco uses grapes from a number of locations across the Western Cape to create an array of precise and brilliant wines. This dinner will be an excellent opportunity to find out what all of the Lourens Family Wines hype is about, and perhaps join in a little too.

All of these incredibly culinary wines will be paired with a menu devised by our Head Chef James and the Beckford Bottle Shop kitchen team, which promises to be creative and delicious.

We will welcome guests at 7pm with a drink, followed by a six-course tasting dinner, paired to match with the wines from across the two wineries.
