Established in 2015, The Beckford Bottle Shop is a contemporary wine merchant with traditional values. Our flagship, in the beautiful city of Bath, has a stylish wine shop and adjoining bistro, featuring tin clad ceilings, sumptuous Chesterfield sofas and a marble countertop window seat.
Chef James Harris and his team create inspired sharing plates utilising the endless bounty of surrounding Somerset produce. Bar snacks are also available throughout the day, the perfect accompaniment to any glass.

Since the age of 14, Iss has been nurturing her love of service and hospitality, growing with the group and previously holding the role of AGM at our sister site, Beckford Canteen.
Now at the helm of BBS, she brings fresh ideas, infectious enthusiasm and her natural warmth to the Beckford Bottle Shop, leading the team with energy and a genuine passion for great hospitality.

After honing his craft in an AA Rosette kitchen for the past eight years, Ollie now brings his passion for British produce (and a fantastic moustache) to BBS, working alongside a talented team to create dishes that celebrate the South West larder.
From winter preserves to spring greens and autumn game, his cooking is driven by the seasons, making the most of the finest produce on our doorstep with a collaborative, ingredient-led approach.

Since leaving an Engineering career behind and following his passion for wine, Ben has spent the last four years working in both the independent wine trade and with larger retailers.
