The 45-year-old vines of the Clos F. Thurot are located within the Queue de Hareng hillside plot which lies between Gevrey-Chambertin and Brochon. While ‘only’ Villages level, this plot clearly has an excellent pedigree and it’s apparently soon to be upgraded to up-graded to Gevrey-Chambertin status.

Bright red berry fruit, supple tannins and warm spices - harmonious and satisfying.
