Sylvain Pataille has quickly become one of those must-buy producers when the En Primeur tastings come around. He makes beautiful and characterful Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté from plots around the village of Marsannay.

The ‘En Clemengeots’ is another, very small single vineyard plot of old vines. Aged in barrel with a small proportion of new oak.
