It’s inescapable, this is a big wine – all of the heft you would want in good Meursault. Still, potentially not the choice for those who crave a lighter take on white Burgundy. All of this being said, there is plenty of freshness to be found here, with creamy lemon and peach notes, which are a great foil to the deep, stony and spicy aromas that shape the main character of the wine. This could well age for decades, but I doubt that I will be so patient.
