One of California's biggest wine names is coming to the Bottle Shop.

Meet the iconic winemaker, Paul Hobbs, the man behind some of California's most celebrated wines.

Hobbs is known as the original ‘flying winemaker’ and has projects extending as far as Mendoza, Argentina, and Vayots Dzor, Armenia. In this tasting evening, we will be focused on Hobbs’ Californian wines, made in the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Napa Valley regions.

On the evening we will taste six incredible wines, while Paul talks about his storied career as a winemaker. He will tell the tales of working for the greats, such as Robert Mondavi, before starting his own winery.

The tasting will begin at 6.30pm, and will conclude at roughly 8.30pm. Bread and butter, and some light snacks will be provided to accompany the wines, however if you would like to stay for dinner after the tasting, please let us know and we will gladly reserve a table for you.
