A little like a bolder version of a Vinho Verde, Txakoli has a slight spritz, and a bright lip-smacking green apple bite. The old-fashioned Basque labelling (love it or loathe it) is eye catching when emerging from an ice bucket, and this wine is so refreshing that it doesn't require food, but you may well require multiple bottles.
